MP from the coalition of Iraqi forces Adel al-Mahallawi that several important laws ready to vote pending political consensus and achieve a quorum.
He said in a press statement that "Parliament is nearing the end of its legislative age, and is still waiting to pass several important laws to be a positive imprint of the current Council in the legislative process."
He explained that "the most important of these laws the unified retirement law and the laws of nursing and health professions and the federal service and accountability and justice," calling on members of parliament to achieve a quorum and work to pass laws to serve the country's people.
