    [rtl]The General Authority of Customs announced on Friday, foiled the smuggling of drugs at Basra airport.[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]The agency said in a statement obtained by Trend Press that it had been able to hold medicines and sports activities at Basra International Airport, pointing out that it would "take the necessary legal measures to launch the materials."[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]The customs agency, announced today, seized drugs in the possession of an Iranian passenger at the Shalamjah border crossing, in the province of Basra.[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]"The General Authority of Customs, in cooperation with members of the customs police, was able to arrest an Iranian passenger with possession of narcotic substances (heroin), which he intended to enter via the Shalamjah border crossing in Basra," the agency said in a statement.[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]The Commission confirmed: "take all legal procedures against the traveler."[/rtl]
