Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold talks with Qatar's emir, Tamim bin Hamad, on a working visit to Moscow next week, the Russian presidency said Friday.
The talks will focus on regional and international issues as well as ways to strengthen Russian-Qatari cooperation in the economic, trade and humanitarian fields, the presidential press center said in a statement.
The Emir of Qatar paid a visit to Moscow in January 2016, during which the two sides agreed to cooperate in the field of price stability in the energy markets as well as preparations for the world football championships in Russia this year and in Qatar in 2022.
