Iranian opposition calls on UN to form committee to investigate mullahs' crimes

The Iranian opposition abroad welcomed the extension of the mandate of the United Nations rapporteur on the human rights situation in the country and called for the formation of a commission to investigate the crimes of the regime, especially the massacre of political prisoners in 1988.
In a statement, the Iranian opposition factions praised the adoption by the United Nations Human Rights Council on Friday of the mandate of the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in Iran, despite all attempts by the regime of terrorism in Tehran to disrupt the matter.
The Iranian opposition abroad said in its statement that the resolution mentions the resolutions condemning the Malalai regime in the UN Human Rights Council and the UN General Assembly, and the lack of cooperation or commitment to the decisions contained in it. Consistent with the resolutions of the United Nations, are indifferent and disregard the universal standards and standards of human rights, which constitute the existential philosophy of the United Nations.
