The deputy of the Badr parliamentary bloc, Razak Abdul-Yamimah al-Haidari, ruled on Saturday, the House of Representatives was able to hold a new session this weekend, attributing to the concern of deputies to promote and publicity the election.

"It is unlikely that the House of Representatives will be able to hold a new meeting this weekend, noting that the absence of deputies will prevent the completion of the quorum for the session."

"The deputies are busy making final arrangements to start their election campaigns, which prevents them from attending the last session scheduled to be held next Thursday," Haidari said.

The Electoral Commission has set the eleventh day of April as the date for the start of the election campaign on May 12.
