[rtl]Russian Chief of Staff Valery Girasimov announced on Saturday the creation of groups of long-range air and naval missile carriers in all strategic directions in Russia .[/rtl]
[rtl]"In order to increase its effectiveness, special attention is given to the development of precision weapons. In every strategic direction, groups of long-range rocket carriers have been established in air, sea and land bases capable of deterrence in strategically important areas," Gerasimov said .[/rtl]
[rtl]"Russia has been able to shorten the readiness of long-range and highly accurate weapons for combat use, by 1.5 times, " he added.[/rtl]
[rtl]He pointed out that "raising the high-precision weapon capability presented by Russian President Vladimir Putin in his letter to the Federal Assembly earlier this month, will allow the transfer of the large part of the strategic deterrence from the nuclear field to the non-nuclear field ."[/rtl]
