The Italian newspaper Al-Kafi Giobolitici ruled out a war between Saudi Arabia and Iran.
The newspaper said in a report that it is unlikely to erupt a war between Tehran, which represents the Shiites in the region, and Riyadh, which is the task of defending the holy places, because Iran has proven that it is a game of war skillfully superior to Saudi Arabia.
In the past two decades, regional conflicts have torn Iraq, Yemen, Syria and Lebanon. The rivalry between Saudi Arabia and Iran has led to sectarian conflicts that divided the Middle East, resulting in civil wars that devastated the region.
Both Iran and Saudi Arabia have engaged in proxy wars in the Middle East that have led to instability, with each party forming alliances to strengthen its influence.
In Yemen, Iran supported the Houthi militias, Saudi Arabia's enemy. In Syria, Tehran supported Bashar al-Assad in his war against the opposition. His victory contributed to Iran's influence in the region stretching from the Mediterranean to the Persian border.
According to some analysts, the only possibility of a war between Iran and Saudi Arabia in November was when Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri announced his resignation from Riyadh accusing Hezbollah of destabilizing Lebanon. Hariri's resignation was provocative for Iran.
Currently, Saudi Arabia is in a difficult period due to the penetration of "Shiite influence" that is threatening the kingdom.
It should be noted that the Israeli Chief of Staff, General Gadi Eisenkot, has previously expressed the desire of Tel Aviv to cooperate with Saudi Arabia to deal with the danger of Iran.
The newspaper pointed out that it is unlikely to erupt a war between Iran and Saudi Arabia because Tehran outperforms Riyadh militarily, having about 550 thousand soldiers and about 2 million and 800 troops reserve.
In contrast, the kingdom's army has only 230,000 troops and 325,000 reserve troops.
