An Indian news website on Saturday revealed the intention of the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, General Vai Kee Seng, to visit Baghdad.
"As soon as we get the approval from the Iraqi ambassador, we will leave with a C-17 transport plane to return the remains of the Indian victims who were killed by a fugitive," the DNA news agency quoted Mawazine News as saying.
"The Indian minister is expected to visit Baghdad on Sunday," he said.
Singh had earlier announced that the legal procedures for obtaining the bodies of the 39 Indian workers killed in Iraq had been completed and New Delhi was waiting for the green light from Baghdad.[/ltr]
