Deputy: The budget law allows the head of government or minister to create grades

MP MP Zeinab al-Sahlani said on Sunday that the budget of 2018 did not witness any new degrees of employment, indicating that the Budget Law allows the Prime Minister or the Minister concerned to develop functional grades when needed.
"The budget of 2018 did not include any functional grades, in addition to it stopped the appointments through deletion and development," Sahlani said in a statement to the Ministry of Information. "The current budget included the deletion only without development."
She added that "the budget law for the year 2018 gave the authority of the Prime Minister or the Minister concerned to develop degrees of employment when necessary," indicating that "the grades are created by a decision of the Council of Ministers under the decision of the owners of the law and the budget."
Al-Sahlani pointed out that "the Prime Minister and the competent minister can submit a request to the Ministry of Finance for the purpose of creating new degrees of employment according to the need of the ministry to that," indicating that "the budgets of 2017 and 2018 included only deletion and did not include the development, and all appointments launched in 2017, Within the movement of owners for the previous year.
