New decisions in Kazakhstan to counter money laundering in encrypted currencies
Kazakhstan's central bank governor Danya Akisev announced that the bank plans to impose a ban on the sale and purchase of currency in local currency.
The governor said the Kazakh National Alliance has a conservative approach on censoring encrypted currencies and will be banning all types of currency mining encrypted Meining.
Akishiyev told Sputnik that the bank wanted to impose a ban on the purchase and sale of coded currencies against the national currency.
The Kazakh National Bank also wants to ban stock exchanges in this area and any types of "Maining".
The central bank governor believes the coded currencies "carry many problems."
Akishiv stressed that the encrypted currency "an ideal way to launder money and escape from taxes."
