The head of the Iraqi parliament, Salim al-Jubouri, revealed Tuesday the files to be discussed by the Egyptian president and other countries.
"Jubouri's visit to Egypt aims at strengthening Iraq's return to its Arab environment as an effective country, in addition to meeting with Arab officials at the conference of the Union of the Arab Parliament, especially at this stage in which Iraq needs to build, .
He added that "they discussed the file of cooperation and activation of joint agreements between the two countries, as well as the lifting of sanctions against Iraqi students who are inducted with officials in Egypt."
"The next country after Egypt is expected to be Saudi Arabia and then other countries," he said.
Jubouri held a meeting today with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, who discussed a number of files concerning the two countries.
