    Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi on Wednesday discussed with Japan's Sumitomo Corporation the establishment of factories to manufacture cars inside Iraq and provide after sales services.
    "The Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi received at his residence in the Japanese capital Tokyo, Chairman of Sumitomo Trading Company Kony Haru Nakamura and his accompanying delegation," the press office of Abadi said in a statement.

    The statement added that "during the meeting discussed the company's many projects in Iraq, including the establishment of laboratories for the manufacture of cars inside Iraq and provide after-sales services, and these projects will provide employment opportunities for Iraqi citizens."
    Prime Minister Haider Abadi arrived Wednesday morning in the Japanese capital Tokyo for a two-day official visit.

    this sounds great, but japan didn't become an economical giant by bein stupid, what can iraq offer is the question

    Japan's Jitro wants to expand its office in Iraq after the security situation stabilizes

    The 
    Japanese Foreign Trade Organization (JETRO) on Wednesday expressed its desire to expand its office in Iraq after the stability of the security situation, while Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi stressed the importance of continuing the work of Japanese companies that have great experience in many sectors in Iraq. 

    Al-Abadi's office said in a statement received by Sumerian News, a copy of it that "the Prime Minister Haider Abadi met at his residence in Tokyo delegation of the Japanese Foreign Trade Organization (JETRO) headed by its director Hiro Yuki Ishid," noting that " Iraq and the implementation of projects in all areas. 
    He Eshed during the statement, "there is a desire for Japanese companies to invest in Iraq and its intention to visit Iraq soon for these projects , " adding to the "FAO desire to expand its office in Iraq after the stabilized security situation, and would encourage their companies to work in Iraq." 

    For his part, Abadi stressed the importance of cooperation with Japanese companies after the transition of Iraq to the stage of construction and reconstruction, adding that "it has achieved victory over the preachers and liberate the entire Iraqi territory and gain citizens alongside the state." 

    He added that "there are Japanese companies in Iraq, including the company that works in the water of Basra," stressing the need to "continue the work of Japanese companies that have considerable experience in many sectors."
