Putin appoints new ambassador to Russia in "Israel"
Russian President Putin announced the appointment of a new ambassador to his country in "Israel", where he announced the appointment of a senior Russian diplomat Antoley Viktorov as Russia's new ambassador to "Israel".
According to the Hebrew site of Router, Viktorov has been in the Russian diplomatic service for more than 30 years, and has held several positions in the Russian Foreign Ministry over the past years.
The new Ambassador Viktorov speaks six different languages, but the Hebrew language is not among them, and previously served as head of the human rights portfolio at the Russian Foreign Ministry.
It is worth mentioning that the Russian president's decision to appoint a new ambassador to Russia in "Israel" comes amid the growing differences between Israel and Russia against the backdrop of discussions on the file "Modern Syria", where there has been recent military tension between the Israeli army and the Russian following the Israeli military operations in Depth of Syrian territory.
