The Russian army is likely that the leader of the "Daash" Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi , is no longer in Syria .

"Baghdadi is probably in Iraq, " said Russian Deputy Prime Minister Igor Kostyukov .

However, the Russian military official also confirmed in his statement to the Interfax news agency on Thursday, in Moscow that the place of Baghdadi is not known exactly.

The Russian Defense Ministry announced last year that the leader of "Daash" was killed in an air strike of the Russian army near the city of Raqqa . However, the killing of the leader of the terrorist organization has never been confirmed.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has also talked about information on the confirmation of leaders in the "Daash" the killing of their leader Baghdadi, as long as rumors that Baghdadi was injured or even killed during attacks, but later confirmed the error of these reports.
