Iraqi Vice President Meets Emir of Kuwait
BAGHDAD / NINA / Iraqi Vice President Khodair al-Khuzaie met on Wednesday 20, Nov the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al - Ahmad Al - Jaber Al-Sabah on the sidelines of the third Arab-African Summit held in Kuwait .
A statement by Khuzaie Office said that during the meeting, they discussed relations between the two countries and ways of developing a number of issues of common interest.
The two sides also discussed ways to open new doors of cooperation between the two countries in economic and other areas that promote the development of bilateral relations .
In the same context , the two sides agreed to exchange visits and meetings in addition to promoting tourism between the two countries and to facilitate the procedures for the entry of the two countries.
The violence in Syria and the developments of the events in the region were discussed, stressing the need to resort to a peaceful solution to maintain the security and stability of the region .
The meeting was attended by the Iraqi Planning Minister, Ali al-Shukri, Acting Minister of Finance, the Chairman of the Parliamentary Foreign Relations Committee Humam Hamoudi and President of the Presidium of the Republic Naseer al-Ani . / End
