Information / Special ...
Basra province council confirmed on Wednesday that the remaining part of the port of Khor Abdullah is not suitable for navigation, noting that Kuwait has tightened the noose on the ports of Umm Qasr and Zubayr.
"The division of the Khawr Abd Allah port between Iraq and Kuwait is unfair and was carried out with the approval of the former regime," provincial council member Ahmad Abdulhussain told Al-Maaloumah.
He added that "the remaining part of the port of Iraq is not suitable for navigation because it is dead bodies," noting that "the parts captured by Kuwait could have received billions of dollars in Iraq."
He said that "Kuwait has tightened the grip on the ports of Umm Qasr or Zubayr and greatly damaged the Iraqi ports."
