    [ltr]British intelligence adviser Mark Sedwell said in a letter to NATO on Friday that Russian intelligence had spied on former dual agent Sergey Scrippal and his daughter Yulia for at least five years before poisoning them with nerve gas.[/ltr]
    [ltr]"We have information indicating that the interest of the Russian intelligence service in the Scrippel family dates back to at least 2013, when Internet experts from GRU targeted Yulia Scrippel's accounts via e-mail," he said, referring to the Russian military intelligence service.[/ltr]
    [ltr]Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Friday that a new report on the poisoning of the former spy had provided nothing, backing Britain's claim that Russia was behind the attack.[/ltr]
    [ltr]Investigators from the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) confirmed the British findings that Scrippal and his daughter had been poisoned in Britain with nerve gas for military purposes on March 4.[/ltr]
    [ltr]But investigators did not say who was responsible for the poisoning.[/ltr]
    [ltr]Britain says the scientific analysis of the name is one of the factors that led it to blame Russia. But Moscow has accused London of launching a campaign of defamation, manipulation of public opinion and concealment of facts[/ltr]
