    Iraq granted a Jordanian company an investment license to set up 1512 housing units at a cost exceeding $ 193 million. 
    The Chairman of the Basra Investment Commission Ali Jasab Mohammed said in a statement received "Economy News" a copy of it, "The decision makers of housing and real estate development granted an investment license for the establishment of residential complex, on an area of ​​(189) acres, and cost more than (193) million dollars American". 
    "The complex includes 189 residential units, including 758 for horizontal construction and 754 for Al Amoudi, in addition to markets, schools, parks and other services," Mohammed added. 
    He pointed out that "the project came within the plans of the Authority seeking to grant more investment permits and in various sectors in order to develop the investment reality, so as to contribute to provide the best services to citizens while Iraq needs three million housing units to address the housing crisis suffered by citizens."
