    The deputy of the province of Basra, Hassan Khalati, called on the Ministries of Interior and Foreign Affairs to coordinate with Iran and Kuwait in order to facilitate the movement of fishermen in the shared waters and the preservation of their rights, pointing to the receipt of several complaints by fishermen "signed by the injustice" Iran or Kuwait. 

    Khallati said in an interview with Alsumaria News that "there are several complaints received by a number of fishermen who have been affected by the injustice as a result of their detention with the Iranian side or Kuwaiti," noting that "these fishermen when they are returned to Iraq, is adopted difficult measures, By the judiciary and the government side, which created great suffering for them.
    He added that "the fisherman when he goes fishing is natural to inadvertently get over the territorial waters of neighboring countries in good faith and without causing any security or other risks," explaining that "the handover of fishermen to the government after the request for extraordinary guarantees or detention for long periods of time before Release them with complicated and very difficult procedures. " 

    "The importance of the Ministries of Interior and Foreign Affairs to take their role in coordination with their counterparts in Iran and Kuwait to facilitate the movement of fishermen and the establishment of joint mechanisms of simplified and not detrimental to the work of fishermen and earn them and maintain their rights to shared water. 

    Interior Minister Qassim al-Araji announced on Wednesday his contact with his Kuwaiti counterpart to receive six Iraqi prisoners in Kuwait after being included in the Amiri amnesty.
