    Iran's Supreme National Security Council Secretary Ali Shamkhani has vowed that his country will punish Israel for its aggression on the Syrian "T4" base and its killing of military advisers from Iran during the raid.
    "The Islamic Republic has paid a price," Shamkhani told reporters before leaving for the Russian city of Sochi to attend a meeting of security officials of the five continental countries in response to a question about the "Zionist attack" on the T4 base. To establish regional security and fight Takfiri terrorism, so can not stand idly by in front of the alarming escalation stemming from the actions of America and the Zionist entity and some of their regional allies destabilizing security.
    Shamkhani noted that the Iranian consultative presence in Syria, which began at the request of the legitimate government in this country aims to fight terrorism, "having played a decisive role in defeating this trend in the region."
    "The entity that gives itself the right to attack the sovereignty of another country and to target forces fighting terrorism must certainly have thought of the repercussions and consequences of that attack and the corresponding reaction."
