The completion of the investigation into 27 cases and their referral to the Iraqi judiciary are subject to large corruption cases
The series of corruption is still widespread within the Iraqi government institutions and bodies despite the alleged campaign led by Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi to expose corruption and punish the corrupt at home and abroad.
The government revealed the existence of 27 huge corruption cases have been referred to the Iraqi judiciary, indicating that the rates of waste of public money is still continuing.

The spokesman for the Information Office of the Council of Ministers, Dr. Saad al-Hadithi said in a statement to " Baghdad Post " that "observers of the Iraqi scene and government efforts to ensure performance and the establishment of a system of control and audit and verification of all joints of the State notes a significant difference in this framework."
He added that "there is almost daily follow-up by the President of the Council of Haidar Abadi and the regulatory bodies concerned in this regard.
He pointed out that the daily reports raised for the purpose of seeing the results, "he pointed out to" the existence of 27 cases have been completed investigation and referred to the Iraqi judiciary file files of corruption and large involving many wanted. "
The Iraqi government coordinates with Interpol and international organizations, to hand over corrupt officials and there is room to open more of these files. "
