Washington: We seek to develop a document attached to the nuclear agreement with Iran and not to review it

    Wednesday, April 25,

Washington: We seek to develop a document attached to the nuclear agreement with Iran and not to rev NB-235097-636602676514410584

, confirmed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of America, Wednesday, that the United States does not intend to review the nuclear deal with Iran or cancel, but seeks to develop an additional document as an attachment to this deal. "We do not intend to hold new negotiations on the comprehensive joint action plan or modify its terms, but we are seeking an additional document,"

US Deputy Secretary of State for International Security and Nonproliferation Christopher Ford told a news conference in Geneva on Wednesday .

Ford said the document would "impose a series of additional rules and restrictions," noting that the main aim of the move was "to meet the challenges more effectively."

The State Department official said the United States was seeking to stay in the nuclear deal with Iran but also promised to fix its loopholes.

On Jan. 12, US President Donald Trump announced that he would extend the suspension of sanctions on Iran for four months under the nuclear deal with Iran, but vowed that this would be his last if the deal was not amended.
