    The Information Office of the Prime Minister, Haider Abadi, on Friday morning, the nature of the latter's visit to the province of Najaf.
     
    The office said in a statement: "We would like to clarify that the schedule of the visit of the Prime Minister to the province of Najaf is designed to inspect government institutions and the conditions of citizens and visit the families of martyrs in the province," noting that "any claim otherwise is pure lies."
     
    He added: "We deeply regret that some media outlets, which allowed themselves falsely to attribute false news in the name of the religious authority, and while we deny this news in full, we call on the media to be credible and the transfer of news from sources official and reliable, "He said.
     
    The local media reported on Thursday, after the visit of Abbadi to Najaf, that the highest religious authority in Najaf refused to receive Abadi, while the Prime Minister had previously conducted similar visits, to a number of provinces in the center and north of the country, before leaving Najaf direction To Karbala.
