    The Speaker of the House of Representatives Salim al-Jubouri, on Thursday, the possibility of holding an extraordinary session of parliament in order to evaluate the work of the Electoral Commission after the voting process. 

    Jubouri said in a press conference held at the headquarters of parliament, that "we reject any interference in the work of the Electoral Commission from any party was official or political," pointing out that "allowing intervention will reflect negatively on the acceptability of the results and delivery, Of the House of Representatives. " 

    He added that "the parliament and now to June 30 - the scheduled date of the end of the current parliamentary session - has the right to hold an extraordinary session to assess the work of the Commission and monitor its performance if necessary," stressing that "this is not ruled out even after the elections."
