Turkish Minister of Customs and Trade Buland Tufenkegi announced on Sunday an understanding with Iraq on the conclusion of an agreement to avoid double taxation between the two countries as soon as possible.
The Turkish media reported in a news item, "Economy News", that "Tufenji met with Iraqi Foreign Minister Ibrahim Jaafari, on the last day of the meeting of the Joint Economic Commission between Turkey and Iraq, which was launched in Ankara."
"The agreement to avoid double taxation between Turkey and Iraq will contribute to strengthening the legal structure of businessmen from both countries," added Tofengji.
