    The Supreme Federal Court ruled unconstitutional the decision of the provincial council of Maysan that the councils and administrative units can ignite the property belonging to the local administration without wages.
    "The Supreme Federal Court held its session under the chairmanship of Judge Medhat al-Mahmoud and the membership of all the judges, and the case of the governor of Maysan, in addition to his position challenging the decision of the Council of Maysan Province No. (48) of 2017 of 28/11 / 2017 ".
    He added that "the decision of the provincial council guarantees the governor the authority to manage the property and real estate of the local administration and the occupancy of those properties by the councils and administrative units free of charge, and not ask the councils and administrative units any wages for the occupancy of those properties for previous years."
    He added that "the prosecutor went to the decision that contrary to the provisions of the Constitution and federal laws, which was previously objected to the provincial council and the insistence of the provincial council to challenge it during the legal period where it was decided to accept the appeal form.
    He added that "the court found that the governor is the head of the administrative unit and enjoys financial and administrative independence and has the management of state real estate under the provisions of articles (22, 23) of the law of the provinces are not organized in a province, and does not need the provincial council to authorize him to do so.
    "The court ruled unconstitutionality of the contested decision because it contravenes the provisions of Article (27/1) of the constitution, which determines public funds inviolability and obliges every citizen to protect them."
