    After the announcement of the issuance of real estate purchase rates by Iraqis in Turkey and Jordan, the Ministry of Planning announced an increase in the per capita income of Iraq to seven thousand dollars a year despite the poverty rate in the country, which amounted to 22% after the economic crisis.
    The Jordanian newspaper Al-Rai said on Monday that the Iraqis issued the list of foreign nationalities in the purchase of Jordanian property during the first third of this year 2018, noting that the value of real estate amounted to 48.6 million dollars.
    Iraqis are the top buyers of Turkish real estate, followed by Saudis, Iranians and Afghans, according to statistics released by Istanbul, which has negatively affected the Iraqi real estate market and led to the decline in prices in a remarkable form since the beginning of the year.
    For his part, a spokesman for the Ministry of Planning Abdul-Zahra al-Hindawi told the agency / information / "The per capita income of Iraq before 2003 was about 300 dollars a year."
    He added that "the poverty rate in the country is 22% at the present time, which has seen a rise in the level because of the economic crisis resulting from the decline in oil prices, while the proportion of the average income and the rate of 78% in Iraq according to the latest surveys."
    He explained that "the average per capita income of Iraq has risen between six to seven thousand dollars annually in recent times, which encouraged the movement of the economy and the rush of others from the case of the trend to buy property abroad."
    On April 25, the Turkish statistical agency announced the purchase of 348 properties in Turkey by Turkey last March, leading other countries in the purchase of real estate in Turkey.
