The European Union called on Tuesday to avoid escalation in the coming days on the Iranian nuclear deal.
A European-British meeting will be held in Brussels with the Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran on the future of the nuclear agreement.
Iranian President Hassan al-Rowhani said his country would continue to "work with the world and engage constructively with the world", a reference to Europe, which has held a number of trade deals with Iran since the landmark nuclear deal with Tehran in 2015 .
"Whether we are under sanctions or not, we must stand on our feet, which is very important for the development of our country," he said.
Rohani hinted on Monday that Iran may remain in the nuclear deal even if the United States withdraws from it, but said Tehran would strongly resist US pressure to limit its influence in the Middle East.
On Tuesday evening, the international community awaits the Trump decision, after it announced that it would unveil its decision on Iran's nuclear deal on Tuesday.[/ltr]
