    Information / Baghdad ...
Oil prices continued their gains in early trading on Thursday, as they received support from a drop in US inventories more than expected.
"Oil inventories in the United States fell by 2.2 million barrels last week, compared to expectations of a decline of 200,000 barrels to 433.78 million barrels, according to the data of the Energy Information Administration."
"The strong push for oil prices came in the wake of the US president's announcement of Washington's withdrawal from the nuclear deal with Iran. Brent crude futures for July delivery rose 0.75 percent, or 58 cents, to $ 77.79 a barrel."
US crude futures for June delivery rose 0.82 percent, or 58 cents, to $ 71.72 a barrel,
Current crude prices are the highest in three and a half years since November 2014. 25 /
