ANOTHER TO REPLACE THEM ............... OF APPROXIMATELY THE SAME DIMENSION AND SIZE ................. WITH A LITTLE ELECTRICITY ADDED TO THEM ............... MAYBE ..................... JUST SAYING (big grin) Walkingstick: In place...... have been Frank26: THEY JUST NEED TO BE TURNED ON ............. SMILE Iggy: when we think of billboards, we see many along the freeway that are paper or canvas that physically have to be changed...what they have in iraq are electronic and can be changed with a flip of a switch... .... ************ Dew7: Good Morning……Can someone please clarify if it is possible for the currency to be reinstated without the government seated? OR is it indeed very important that the security of a seated government would be in place for this to happen.... which would make sense. OR is it that no one really knows and we need to wait and see. Fuze: Dew7, the current GOI is still seated. Rommy: BINGO! Jay: ALL IMO...Waiting for the goi to be seated has no play in this. The cbi waits for the IMF to say RI your currency now. Goi has no control over the cbi. This can go at any time. From now until 2022 when the 5 yr plan ends. I would think the 5 yr plan that Abadi announced has launched a few days ago, would REQUIRE an International rate waaaaaaay before 2022. LIKE NOW. Hang tough Fam. Its comming. WHEN!!!!!!!!!! is the only ? LOL IMO. Popeye7: The CBI is not controlled by the GOI, and remember folks that they have been espousing security, and stability for quite some time... Remember that CBI Governor Alak has been declaring, and hinting they are ready to add value to the dinar... So why should these elections make a difference?... Just like Abadi knew the election was all but won with very little campaigning on his part, this aspect of monetary reform is at a point of a moment by moment basis... Frank indicated on his call that he believes they have a date for this... I concur.. Iraq still has a government in place... The next government will have the ability to hit the ground running so to speak if they increase the value of the dinar ASAP... But this of course is IMHO... ************ GreenClan: may 15 -un operational rates due may 15 -start Ramadan june 15-end Ramadan june 15 -start EID al Fitr june 19 -end EID al Fitr July 14 republic day Aug 22 -Eid Al-Adha feast of sacrifice Aug 25-End Eid Al-Adha sacrifice feast varies on lunar cycle Sep 11-Islamic New year. So when do you PEEPS feel IRAQ will RI their currency….? We have seen many events come and go in Iraq. But we do know Investors are STILL WAITING to come in…….. How are they holding their interest???? Lets sit and pray and watch Greenclan ************** DocK: Found this IMF article on Turkmenistan and their Currency Reform Example ........ NOTICE LAUNCH .... Quote: The process of exchange rate unification was launched at the start of (January) 2008 and was completed on May 1, 2008. The former dual exchange rate system comprised (i) an official rate pegged at manat 5,200 per U.S. dollar; and (ii) a parallel market rate, 4-5 times more depreciated. Effective January 1, 2008, the authorities devalued the official rate to manat 6,250 per US dollar, and introduced a commercial rate of manat 20,000 per US dollar at which banks could trade freely with the public. Although the transition was originally planned to last for most of 2008, the two markets wereunified on May 1, at the rate of manat 14,250 per US dollar, a level consistent with the country's strong external position. At the start of June, the authorities issued new foreign exchange regulations, which allow the CBT to provide ready access to foreign exchange.” More at https://www.imf.org/en/News/Articles/2015/09/28/04/53/pn0897 Frank26 (smile) DocK: IMF FISCAL YEAR STARTS MAY 1 Same time Turkemenistan UNIFIED Exchange rates. Shows who's book keeping they are dealing with.......... In IMF 2nd Quarter - August President signed off on it. ************ Cole: .KTFA family... looks like things are really heating up with our study. Articles are getting really colorful and exciting.. but most reliably, Allaq has told us every step of the plan with 100% transparency. He says delay, it’s a delay, he says wait for it, we wait. No beating around the bush. Straight forward just like Franks description of the esteemed second article. Allaq knows what he’s doing as well as the PTB. Don’t you think other people want this just as bad as we? Good reflection of how he runs the CBI. Financial inclusion week was part of meeting the appropriate environment goal. Now imo it has been suggested that the timing to RI their currency is political. To me, these questions remain... how and/or when can Abadi time this to better his political stance? Are there still too many 000’s on the streets? Citizens are opening accounts, but is it enough? How long can they keep up the profitless auctions? Ramadan doesn’t affect the work of the CBI, right? Was the Inclusion week successful enough? Seems like there should be more accounts being opened. Are various companies waiting on elections before they pay electronic? Is the ball in the court of the CBI to inform us about their new currency via the second article? Are they waiting on DC? As we have been taught, the success of any referendem is up to the citizens... And it definitely always boils down to “we don’t know what we don’t know”. And that’s just the nature of a speculative investment, so stop reading into it so much! Come on, laugh a little! Things are going well! I’m excited to hear from the CBI very soon! Samson: Rafidain Bank announces the continuation of issuing "Master Card" for citizens 13th May, 2018 Al-Rafid Bank announced on Sunday that it is continuing to issue an electronic payment tool (mastercard) for international employees, citizens and other segments of society. The bank's information office said in a statement received by Al-Ghad Press that "the bank's branches continue to issue (MasterCard), which are used inside and outside Iraq and are acceptable in all ATMs connected to the MasterCard network and points of sale." He pointed out that "the advances and loans granted to employees are through these cards as well as settling their salaries electronically." LINK ChrisC: Does this not say "the Mastercards are ACCEPTABLE IN ALL ATMs connected to the Mastercard network and POINTS OF SALE"?? Everybody still not awake yet? Dan: Saw it, don't know what to make of it at a program rate. Needs RI to work I think. Sunkissed: That's the way I read it too!!! ... which are used inside and OUTSIDE Iraq AND are acceptable in ALL MasterCard-linked ATM's, as well as POINT OF SALE. THIS IS HUGE! to me! wowWowWOW! Cole: They’ve already been doing this... visa and MC issue debit cards as well as credit. Their debit cards are used on the same platform as the standard credit card. To me, the big thing is that the salaries will be paid electronically...This is continuing to happen and more and more are opening accounts!!! then when they go to their atms one day soon they will expel the new notes!!! Cole: So all we wait on is the activation! Just like the billboards. With more and more cards being distributed. More salaries to be paid electronically. They will be dealing with dinar only. MCP will cease with the RI. Cole: The CBI is ready just like Allaq said. Abadi (imo) will remain in power. And they are promoting the RI... and and and. The cake is baked baby! How long do we let’-‘er-rest? ChrisC: EXACTLY!! There are a whole lot of hungry kids banging their forks on the table. Slap some icing on it and open up the ice cream and start serving!! *************** ChrisC: I want to throw out a scenario that is becoming more clear, in my mind at least, and that is they have already done this in-country. Walkingstick and Frank CAN"T say anything about it yet. However, they themselves (Iraq) are leaking it in their own articles such as the Mastercard-ATMs, and Walkingstick admitting (if I understood him right) that they were already on the billboards. Also, the picture of Alak with all those other banking heads and them treating him like he was the king. That article that DocK put out is proof of a pattern that I have been suspicious of for some time now. False information is the staple of governments all over the world, so what if the auctions have really been over for awhile and these numbers we have been seeing aren't even real ? I could go on with all the proof, but this is like a picture that is being revealed in an archaeological dig that is becoming really more and more clear with every brush stroke clearing away the dirt. |
