The US Navy commander is monitoring Iran's behavior well in the Gulf, anticipating 'a period of uncertainty' and raising the level of alert after President Trump's decision to withdraw from Iran's nuclear deal, the commander of the US Navy said.
"We are entering a period of uncertainty, how will the whole world react to the latest developments," Admiral John Richardson, commander of US naval operations, told a small group of reporters.
"We have to be prepared, I mean a little more prepared than usual to be ready for any kind of response or any development or something like that," he said.
He said that the US Navy has not observed Iranian provocative behavior in the Gulf since the Trump Declaration, but it is watching well.
