Shafak News / The Supreme Federal Court ruled in response to a lawsuit in which one of the deputies asked for compensation from another deputy, asserting that this is beyond its competence.
"The Federal Supreme Court held its session under the chairmanship of Judge Medhat al-Mahmoud and the presence of the judges of the members, and considered a lawsuit filed by one of the deputies against another deputy, the prosecutor said in his lawsuit that the defendant charged the party to which he belongs The plaintiff and sought compensation of two billion dinars for damage suffered by his party. "
He added that "the court rejected the case because it is not competent to consider requests for compensation for acts contrary to the law, in accordance with the powers stipulated in Article (93) of the Constitution and Law No. (30) for the year 2005."
