Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi on Tuesday called on the election commission to take action on complaints.
"We call on the Electoral Commission to take fair action on the electoral complaints received by the Commission," Abadi told the weekly press conference.
He added that "solving the problem of elections in the province of Kirkuk lies in the return of the process of counting and sorting manually."
Abadi said that "the Commission informed the government not to choose a company to examine the voting apparatus just a week before the elections."
