    Shafaq News / The media office of the Prime Minister Haider Abadi denied the existence of threats to members of the Electoral Commission or the exposure of polling stations in the city of Kirkuk at the risk of armed groups.

    A statement from the office of Abadi, "In light of the sent by the Electoral Commission for elections with an official letter on threats to members of the Commission in addition to the Office of Kirkuk, we would like to show the following: 
    The Commission did not mention in its book the type of threat to members of the Board of Commissioners and who is the body And that the security services did not receive any notification of the existence of a threat before the announcement in the media 
    .. "However, the Prime Minister and the Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces Haider Abadi immediately investigated the threats mentioned and in light of this was contacted by the commissioners (Nima Al-Moussawi) Facebook Facebook logo Keep me logged in Said Hamid Omi Nkakai) to ensure that they are threatened, and have denied each of them. "
    He continued, "Mr. Mu'tamad Nemaa al-Moussawi told us by telephone on 17/4/2018 that there is no threat but there is a media campaign in one of the satellite channels, and he confirmed that the local security forces are providing him with adequate protection. Also on 17/5/2018 and he also stressed the absence of any threat to him or his family. " 
    The member of the Board of Said Kakaee announced the submission of objections to the results of the Iraqi elections, and asked to recount a manual promise. 
    It came shortly after a statement issued by the Electoral Commission, in which the Commissioner himself Said Kakaie threatened to kill him and his family from one of the political parties affected by the election results and forced him to resign or appear in the media for the purposes of that political side.
    The statement of the Office of Abadi "that the electoral centers and offices of the Commission in the province of Kirkuk adequately secured by the counter-terrorism, where the Prime Minister and the commander of the armed forces a few days ago to send additional troops and the security situation in Kirkuk under control." 
    It is noteworthy that the Electoral Commission invited the commander-in-chief of the armed forces Haider Abadi intervene, to expose members of its office in Kirkuk to threaten the death. 
    But the commander of the law enforcement in Kirkuk Major General Maan al-Saadi denied that information and stressed that "all the ballot boxes secured with flashes and rum in a warehouse and protect fighters of the members of the counter-terrorism," noting that "the situation inside the province of Kirkuk stable and not cause for concern."

    The Arabs and Turkmen in the province of Kirkuk, the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan to rig elections in favor of him, while rejecting the latter accusations and calls for acceptance of the results.

    And left masses of Arab citizens and Turkmen in the province of Kirkuk, in demonstrations demanding the government and the Commission to adopt a manual count to sort the votes of the voters of the province.

    The government authorities imposed a curfew in the province of Kirkuk from midnight on Saturday until dawn on Sunday against the backdrop of besieging angry protesters to the headquarters of the Commission in the province.

    The National Union threatened to move the Kurdish street to preserve its citizens if the security authorities did not take action
