A new government decision to import damaged cars[/rtl]

(Baghdad: Al Furat News) The government economic affairs committee issued a new decision on the importation of damaged cars and their entry into Iraq.
"There is no objection to starting the implementation of the decision of the Economic Affairs Committee issued on April 26, 2018 on August 30, 2018," said the head of the committee, Minister of Planning and Trade Salman Jumaili, to the Ministry of Finance.
According to the decision, the decision to ban the importation of damaged cars of all kinds and models and from various sources was extended to August 30 instead of the entry into force on April 26.
The General Authority of Customs announced on Thursday not to allow the importation of these cars and start to implement it, which caused damage to importers, especially the purchase and shipment of these vehicles takes three months and that the issuance of such a decision caused harm to importers and the category of winery as well as the accumulation of cars in the border.
The government is trying to reduce the number of cars to ease the suffocating traffic in Iraq, especially the capital Baghdad and wants to limit the models 2016 until 2018
