    Information / Baghdad ..
The legal expert Tariq Harb said on Tuesday that the seven governors who won the parliamentary elections are subject to automatic dismissal after being sworn in as deputies. He pointed out that Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi is entitled to appoint a governor under the constitution.
"Article 49 of the constitution stipulates that there is no possibility of combining parliamentary work with any other work," Harb said in a statement to Al-Maaloumah. "The winning conservatives, once they are elected as deputies, will be terminated as governors even if they do not resign from office. "He said.
"The Prime Minister Haider Abadi has the constitutional right under Article 78 to appoint a governor in the absence of a provincial council, as in the case of Kirkuk in his capacity as chief executive officer."
It is noteworthy that the governors of Salah al-Din, Anbar, Kirkuk, Wasit, Muthanna, Babil and Basra succeeded in obtaining the membership of the House of Representatives during the parliamentary elections held on 12 of this month. Ending / 25 d
