A spokesman for the Ministry of Electricity Musab teacher said on Thursday that the electricity crisis has tired the ministry and the Iraqi government and thus the citizen, pointing out that the crisis of electric power has been going on for 15 years, despite the allocation of $ 40 billion dollars and may continue for another 20 years in case of continued chaos of the process of energy distribution.
The teacher said that the Ministry of Electricity has limited powers and can not succeed in its work alone, stressing the need to assign the work of the ministry by all ministries and provincial councils and citizens.
He pointed to the loss of 60% of electricity production because of thefts and abuses, considering that the citizen who attacks officials through social networking sites is the same collaborator to promote corruption when a simple maintenance worker blackmail and take money from him.
