The dollar is retreating as trade concerns grow and after the Fed's minutes

Mubasher: The US dollar fell against major currencies on Thursday, after the Fed's record, as trade concerns grew, ahead of economic data.
The Fed's record showed yesterday that it plans to raise interest rates next month, but nevertheless stressed that it would allow inflation to rise above the 2% target as the economy continues to recover.
However, the report said it was too early to see inflation stay at levels around 2% after years of existence at lower levels.
By 7:50 am GMT, the euro fell against the dollar by 0.3% to $ 1.1726, and fell against the yen by 0.5% at 109.59 yen.
The greenback was down against the pound at $ 1.3369, down 0.2%, while the Swiss franc was down 0.3% at 0.9927 francs.
The dollar's main index measures the performance of the currency against 6 major currencies, falling by 0.3% to 93.757 dollars.
The US administration announced the start of investigations into the import of vehicles and components, which threatens possible tariffs.
Later in the day, jobless claims, house prices and sales in the United States are due to be announced later in the day.
