MP of the coalition of state law Zeinab al-Khazraji, on Sunday, that the next session of the House of Representatives will witness a qualitative change in positions and press for women to assume ministerial positions and the presidency of parliamentary committees and this right natural guaranteed by the Constitution.
Al-Khazraji said in a press statement that "since the fall of the regime and over previous years and the succession of governments, women have not been given the right to hold ministerial posts, but something minor is not commensurate with the real representation of women, whether in ministerial cabins or the presidency of parliamentary committees or independent bodies."
"We will stand firm during the fourth session and demand our rights and we will not allow the marginalization of women's rights as happened before. We will not relinquish our right guaranteed by the constitution, which is the real representation of women, whether in ministerial cabins or parliamentary committees."
