    The Jordanian monarch King Abdullah II on Monday asked outgoing Prime Minister Hani al-Mulqi to conduct business until a new government is formed. 
    In a letter to Prime Minister Hani al-Mulqi, in response to the letter of resignation, the Royal Court said in a statement, "I accept your resignations and your government to confirm the continuity of this government in running the business until formation New government ". 
    The Jordanian Prime Minister, Hani al-Mulqi, the resignation of his government, on Monday, against the backdrop of protests, which witnessed the country because of economic conditions, and was assigned Omar al-Razzaz successor.

    Thousands of Jordanians took to the streets of the capital Amman and major towns, continuing protests that began last Wednesday. 
    Protests have widened in the past two days after Al-Muqli rejected a draft law raising income tax and the government's economic policies.[/ltr]
