Khamenei directed to increase uranium enrichment in Iran

TEHRAN - Iranian leader Ali Khamenei has ordered an increase in uranium production and enrichment in 190,000 centrifuges for his country's atomic energy agency.
"Iran will not accept US sanctions and abandon its nuclear activities," Khamenei said in a speech during a program to commemorate the 29th anniversary of the death of Revolution leader Ruhollah Khomeini.
He added that "the sanctions aimed at subjugating the Iranian people, pointing out that" according to information received from European countries, some expect us to withdraw our hands from all nuclear activities and acceptance of restrictions in this area, "They actually dream of it.
Khamenei did not elaborate on the rate of increase, which he asked for uranium enrichment, or the date of actual implementation of the resolution.
The administration of US President Donald Trump has threatened Tehran with "the harshest sanctions in history" if it fails to meet its terms to reach a "new agreement" expanded after the US withdrawal from the Iranian nuclear deal.
