    North Korea's Kim Jong-un is expected to attend a summit with US President Donald Trump in Singapore on Tuesday, a recent report said.

    The meeting, although it will be held between the two leaders at the Capella Hotel, is secluded at a tourist resort on a island in Singapore, the first country to be visited by the North Korean leader since he took over the inheritance, a report from Bloomberg said.     In return, Trump pledged to "protect" the North Korean leader after he abandoned the nuclear program, and US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo spoke of providing economic aid to Pyongyang.
