    The Supreme Judicial Council announced on Wednesday the issuance of arrest warrants against 20 accused of the crime of detonating the pile of equipment in Sadr City, while the arrest of six accused of a fire incident the Electoral Commission in the Rusafa side of Baghdad.

    "The competent courts have already taken appropriate legal measures in connection with the explosion of the weapons piles in Sadr City and issued arrest warrants against (20) accused, as well as the crime of burning the organs of the elections, where 6 suspects were arrested until Tuesday," he said.
    He stressed that "the procedures for investigating the crime of electoral fraud are deposited with the Integrity Commission and that the judicial proceedings regarding the case related to this also continue strictly away from the wishes of liquidating political opponents by exploiting the possibilities of the security services to achieve those desires for narrow personal interests at the expense of the state interest." Ending / 25
