The judiciary appoints three judges to assume the task of directors of UNHCR offices in Kurdistan
On Thursday, the Supreme Judicial Council issued an order appointing three judges to administer the offices of the Independent High Electoral Commission in the provinces of the Kurdistan region.
"The President of the Supreme Judicial Council issued today an order appointing three judges nominated by the Judicial Council in the Kurdistan region to take over the directors of the offices of the Electoral Commission in Erbil, Sulaymaniyah and Dohuk," Council spokesman Abdul Sattar Birqdar said in a statement."And thus complete the appointment of directors of the offices of the Electoral Commission in all provinces of Iraq and the Kurdistan region."
