The Iraqi Front for National Dialogue confirmed on Thursday its support for the invitation of Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi to a dialogue table, saying that this would cut the road to "sectarian confinement", saying it was "a step in the right direction."
The Front stressed in a statement that "the agenda of the Baghdad meeting should include the structural imbalance that accompanied the political process and the absence of the logic of the state and the institutions."
"Such initiatives will cut the way for any attempt to restore sectarian confinement and reproduce the abhorrent experience of quotas," it said.
