Newspaper: Trump aides obstruct his desire and plans to meet with Putin

newspaper , " The Washington Post ", Saturday, about attempts by US President Donald Trump 's entourage, aimed at disrupting his desire to organize a possible meeting with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin , in Europe next July.
"Trump is interested in arranging a personal meeting with the Russian leader, and he publicly disclosed this after the two presidents made a telephone call in March, in which he suggested that the US president hold a bilateral summit," the paper quoted senior US diplomatic sources as saying.
However, according to the working paper, Trump asked his aides to hold bilateral talks with Putin in November 2017 after talking to the Russian president on the sidelines of the APEC summit in Vietnam .
"After this meeting, the president announced that he wanted to invite Putin to the White House , and we ignored him," a senior US official told the Washington Post .
The newspaper said that the US National Security Council, opposed the idea of a bilateral summit did not take the words of Trump as a presidential request for implementation.
