Al-Sadr alliance, supported by the leader of the Sadrist movement Muqtada al-Sadr, confirmed his "faith" in the votes he won in the recent parliamentary elections. He stressed that the judiciary should take its role in solving the crisis that accompanied the electoral process.

The leader of the alliance, Raed Fahmi, said in a press statement that his alliance believes in the votes he won in the results of the 2018 elections, stressing that the implementation of the project adopted by the coalition will be after the formation of the next government.

Fahmy pointed out that "the steps of some parties to complicate the political scene are unacceptable, and must bear in mind the interest of the country, not their personal interests."

He called on the leadership of the alliance, the Iraqi judiciary to "take its role in resolving the crisis, which began to worsen."

And witnessed the past few days, a political movement between all the political forces involved in the electoral process for understanding on the formation of the largest bloc within the Iraqi parliament, which in turn will form the next government.

This comes after the developments witnessed by the file of the elections and their results from the adoption of the third amendment to the election law and the burning of the warehouses of the Electoral Commission in Rusafa, and its consequences that are expected to resolve and spare the country a constitutional vacuum, through the formation of the next government.
