The Board of Commissioners Commission of the Electoral Commission, on Thursday, considered Saturday an official term for all employees of the Electoral Commission, and stopped granting leave to all employees of the National Office and provincial offices, except in emergency cases.
The Commission said in a statement received by Alsumaria News, a copy of it, "the Board of Commissioners in the Electoral Commission held an extensive meeting in the presence of the full members of the judges assigned in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Board of Commissioners and Directors-General and their assistants and some department managers in the National Office," noting that " And the counting that took place in order to develop a comprehensive plan to proceed with the implementation of counting and sorting manually according to the third amendment to the law of elections of the Council of Representatives No. (45) for the year 2013 amended and the decision of the Federal Supreme Court With the number 99/104/106 Federal / Media 2018 on 21/6/2018 according to a specified period of time. "
She added that "for the purpose of putting the points put forward at the meeting in question, the Council decided to consider Saturday as an official term for all staff of the Commission." He also noted that it was also decided to stop granting leave to all employees in the National Office and provincial offices, except in emergency situations.
The Federal Court announced on Thursday that the electoral electoral appeals do not violate the Constitution, pointing out that the manual counting and counting is true.
