Oil rises on uncertainty over OPEC meeting
Oil prices rose about 1 percent on Friday, buoyed by uncertainty over whether the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries could agree to an increase in production at a meeting in Vienna.
Brent crude <LCOc1> rose 73 cents, or 1 percent, in futures to $ 73.78 a barrel by 0502 GMT.
WTI rose 72 cents, or 1.1 percent, in futures to $ 66.26 a barrel.
OPEC is meeting with independent producers including Russia at its headquarters in the Austrian capital to discuss production policy.
