MOSCOW (Reuters) - The Kremlin is considering the possibility of a meeting between President Vladimir Putin and US national security adviser John Bolton, Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov said on Monday.
"This issue is being studied, but so far it is not known whether this meeting will be held or not," said Ushakov.
Bolton is scheduled to visit Moscow on June 27 for consultations on a possible meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his US counterpart Donald Trump, US National Security Council spokesman Garrett Markis said.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov also said he would meet US national security adviser during his visit to Russia.
